Technical Specifications:
Our stranded THHN / THWN copper wire features PVC insulation and a nylon jacket. The annealed copper conductor is available in 10, 12, and 14 AWG. Insulation is a heat and moisture resistant PVC and its nylon jacket is abrasion, heat, moisture, gasoline, and oil resistant. The wire is rated at 600 Volts, up to 90C and is commonly used in residential and commercial building needs. Widely used as a building cable, construction wire, electrical equipment wire, etc.
Our THHN copper wire / THWN copper wire is suitable for installation as a building wire in most building codes set by the National Electrical Codes. With its 600 Volts rating, the THHN/THWN building wire is usable for nearly all appliances such as hot water heaters and garbage disposals. For indoor and outdoor applications where longevity is valued, this THHN wire / THWN wire provides the peace of mind that contractors and homeowners demand. As it’s UL-approved for permanent installation, it’s commonly used in new construction and a variety of other projects where the wire will not need to be removed.
The inherent strength, hardness, and flexibility of our insulated wire also makes it very easy to work with and ideal for electrical wiring systems. You can strip it and terminate it during installation or service with far less danger of nicks or breaks. If you’re looking for a wiring system that is easy to hook up and won’t break down in service–rely on our flexible and durable copper wire.
This wire is UL Listed, CSA Certified, and RoHS Compliant. It’s a cost-effective choice that resists potentially damaging byproducts of machinery. Aside from the mechanical protection, the nylon jacket protects the wire from abrasion as it’s pulled through conduits. These characteristics make our THHN wire an excellent choice for controlling outside factors that could otherwise alter the performance of wire cables.
